RESEARCH M-PHIL

                      In India, the M.Phil Degree is considered to be a bridge course between the Master’s Degree (M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com. / MBA / MCA) and the Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.). More than 400 universities are conducting M.Phil Degrees of one/two years duration. Selection of M.Phil candidates is done on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the concerned universities and institutions.

AREAS OF M.Phil. DEGREE OFFERED AT Techno Global University

Objective : The One Year full time and regular M.Phil Degree has been designed for enabling the Master’s Degree holders to acquire expert knowledge of research methodology and other advanced topics for being prepared to get registered in the Ph.D. Degree in the relevant Faculties.

Eligibility : Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.

Duration: One Year

Selection: An all India Entrance Test will be conducted in the last week of June and December for selecting candidates for admission to the M.Phil Degree.

Distribution of Papers: There are three papers in M.Phil Degree besides an M.Phil Thesis to be submitted. Examinees will appear in all the three theoretical papers at the end of the academic session.

M.Phil Thesis: Examinees will submit the M.Phil Thesis before appearing in the university examination conducted in the university campus in Meghalaya.

Award: Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Degree with specialization in the relevant subject shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by the Techno Global University.

Tuition and Other Fee: The total fee for the one year full time regular M.Phil Degree is Rs. 25,000 payable in two installments. The first installment of Rs. 12,500 is payable at the time of admission. The remaining installment of Rs. 12,500 is payable after six months. The details of fee to be paid by the participants of the M.Phil Degree are as follows:

Registration Fee and Admission Fee	Rs. 2,500.00
University Development Fee	Rs. 1,000.00
Tuition Fee	Rs. 25,000.00
Total	Rs. 28,500.00

* Identity card fee Rs. 200
* Fees must be paid by demand draft in the name of "Techno Global University" payable at Shillong / Delhi. University will not be responsible for students paying by any other way.

Distribution of Papers : There are four papers including the M.Phil Thesis in the M.Phil Degree course. First Paper i.e. Research Methodology is compulsory. The other two papers differ from subject to subject.
